Memorial by Hari Sauri dasa

Subala dasa was a devotee from NZ who joined in late 1977. He was one of the first to be initiated by Bhavananda in 1978. He was an energetic and creative person who was halfway through building his own ocean-going boat when he joined. He sold this and donated the proceeds to the temple. Later he moved to Wellington and started a temple there. He got married (I don't know if there were any children).
